Heidi is a local artist working in the mediums of Ink and watercolour, utilising the mediums in varying ways to obtain a wide range of beautiful artworks that capture the essence of the Lake District. From creating small framed artworks to using wire and tissue paper, Heidi uses traditional mediums to create atmospheric modern art.

Heidi explains that originally her work was architecturally based, looking at line and form, yet since living in The Lakes, the domination of the fells has been hard to ignore. Heidi has been translating this into small pieces determined by the materials available and working quite spontaneously.
