Norman has a professional background in engineering and studied Mechanical Engineering at Salford University. He has combined his engineering skills with his creative talent to create his unique brand of jewellery, known as desigNE jewellery, which he has been developing and designing since 2009.

Each piece of Norman Eames' contemporary resin and aluminium jewellery is designed and handcrafted in his Rochdale studio. Norman loves to experiment with different types of resin and unusual colour blends, he achieves unique flow patterns by using polyester resin and alternating layers of colours, interrupted by accents of aluminium, which is then cut in cross sections and polished to create a beautiful contoured effect with a glossy, smooth finish. The natural variations in this process mean that no two pieces are ever the same, making each piece of hand-crafted jewellery entirely individual and ensures that no two people will ever find anyone else wearing the same piece of jewellery.

Norman designers and makes a variety of unique, contemporary eye-catching designs that are deceptively light in weight and very comfortable to wear. DesigNE jewellery is very durable and easy to maintain and it is not affected by perfumes and insect repellent. Norman is continually developing and evolving the desigNE jewellery range.
